Vegas Moose registration sits inside the Great Britain identity-verification framework for remote gambling. UK Gambling Commission rules require remote licensees to obtain and verify customer identity information before allowing gambling, including at least name, address and date of birth. Vegas Moose’s current account support then shows a separate document process that can request photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment for a particular account.

The operator’s current Help and FAQ pages give specific routes for those documents: secure photo-ID capture that can use a phone and selfie, utility-provider verification or manual proof-of-address upload, and an uploader for proof of payment. Manually uploaded documents can take up to three working days to review. That is the operator’s present guidance for manual uploads, not a guaranteed end-to-end KYC completion time for every account.

Registration checks and document KYC are not the same step

The first distinction to understand is between identity verification needed to establish an account and later requests for documents. In Great Britain, a remote operator must verify identity information before a customer is permitted to gamble. The UKGC’s current licence condition says this information includes, but is not restricted to, name, address and date of birth.

That regulatory minimum does not mean Vegas Moose will ask every customer to upload the same three document types immediately after clicking Join. Electronic checks can establish information without a manual upload. The operator’s Account Details page instead contains a verification area showing which documents are required for that account and the status of each item.

Photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment are possible verification categories, not a universal three-document signup checklist. The exact combination and timing depend on the account and the checks already completed.

What Vegas Moose can ask you to provide

Vegas Moose FAQ lists three main verification categories. Photo ID can be a driving licence or passport. Proof of address can include a utility bill or government-issued letter showing the player’s full name, current postal address and an issue date within the last three months. Proof of payment can include a photograph of a registered card showing the cardholder name and last four digits.

Verification categoryCurrent official examplesHow it is handled

Proof of paymentRegistered payment card documentUploaded through the on-site document tool, with sensitive middle card digits obscured.

The current Terms also allow Vegas Moose to request additional or certified documents where needed to verify an account. Do not interpret the examples above as a complete list of every document that could ever be requested in every compliance situation.

How photo ID verification works

Vegas Moose says it uses a secure third-party provider to check identity documents. From My Account, the user follows the Provide link for proof of ID and is redirected into the secure process. The current instructions are phone-oriented: photograph the ID clearly, keep the full document in frame, avoid glare and make sure the image is in focus.

For a passport, the current Help page says to capture the photo page. For a two-sided document such as a driving licence or national ID card, the process can ask for front and back. It can also request a selfie to confirm that the person completing the process owns the ID document.

If the account journey starts on desktop, the FAQ says the system can display a QR code to scan with a mobile phone and continue the capture there. The phone camera can therefore be part of the identity process even when registration starts on a computer. The same mobile route can also support other phone-based account tasks.

How proof of address works

The current support flow offers an electronic route first. After choosing the proof-of-address link in My Account, the user can be directed to an external service and connect an online utility account. Vegas Moose says that route can verify address information in real time.

For manual proof of address, the FAQ describes a utility bill or government-issued letter showing full name, current postal address and an issue date within the last three months.

For manual files, the FAQ says uploaded documents must be JPG, PNG or PDF and should be clear enough to verify the details. Those file-format instructions apply to the operator’s current uploader and can change if its upload process changes.

How proof of payment works

Proof of payment is handled through the on-site uploader. The current guidance says payment methods must be owned by, or in the same name as, the registered Vegas Moose customer. When a payment card is photographed, the operator instructs the user to cover the middle eight digits of the 16-digit card number for security while keeping the necessary identifying information visible.

Proof of payment connects the funding method to the account holder. A method can be available for deposits and still require ownership documents when the account asks for it.

Do not send sensitive card images through a channel that is not part of the operator’s documented process. The current Help page directs users to the on-site uploader and gives support at [email protected] for difficulties with the verification flow.

How long verification takes

There is no single published end-to-end KYC completion time that applies to every Vegas Moose account. The current official materials separate automated or dedicated identity flows from manually uploaded documents. The FAQ says the photo-ID route provides an immediate response, while manually uploaded documents should be allowed up to three working days for review.

That three-working-day figure is therefore best read as current guidance for manual document processing. It is not a promise that every account will be fully verified within three days, because the operator can need another document, reject an unclear image, or require a different check.

If a document is declined, the FAQ suggests checking that it was submitted in the correct category, that all four corners are visible and that proof of address is recent enough under the current rules. Clear images and the correct upload route reduce avoidable delays, but they do not guarantee approval.

Verification and withdrawals

Vegas Moose’s current FAQ explicitly says a withdrawal can remain pending when ID documents are required. The Account Details page is therefore the first place to look if a cashout has not moved and the verification area shows outstanding items.

This does not mean a withdrawal request should be used as the first trigger for information the operator could reasonably have requested earlier. UKGC licence condition 17.1.1 says a withdrawal request must not create an additional-information condition where the licensee could reasonably have sought that information before. It also preserves the operator’s ability to ask for information that becomes legally necessary at that time.

The Vegas Moose FAQ and Terms use different post-pending banking windows, so see the withdrawal verification for the separate timing stages.

Where source-of-funds or financial checks fit

Vegas Moose can request additional financial information for individual account checks, but the Terms do not set one universal source-of-funds threshold that applies to every player.

The practical rule is to respond to the requirement shown for your own account rather than copying a document checklist from another casino. If the verification area asks for identity, address or payment documents, use the corresponding secure route. If the operator asks for a different financial document for a specific account decision, follow that request and use support if the reason is unclear.

Not every possible compliance document is mandatory at signup. The account shows the checks required for the individual customer.

Registration offers are a separate decision

Creating and verifying an account should be evaluated separately from the promotional offer attached to new registration. Vegas Moose currently advertises a no-deposit registration offer, but eligibility and wagering belong to the bonus terms rather than the KYC process.

Use the registration offer for the wider promotion structure or the no-deposit registration offer for the current no-deposit offer. Verification can be relevant to account access and withdrawals, but it should not be used to blur the difference between identity checks and promotional conditions.

A practical KYC checklist

  1. Register through the operator’s current site and complete the identity information requested in the account flow.
  2. Open My Account and check the verification area rather than assuming every document is mandatory.
  3. For photo ID, use the secure Provide route and follow the phone capture instructions precisely.
  4. For proof of address, use the utility-provider connection when available or the manual uploader when needed.
  5. For proof of payment, follow the uploader instructions and obscure the middle eight card digits when a card image is requested.
  6. Allow up to three working days for manually uploaded documents before treating the review time as overdue.
  7. If a document is declined, check clarity, category, visible corners and current proof-of-address requirements before resubmitting.

What the UKGC rule adds for Great Britain

For Great Britain readers, the key regulatory fact is narrow but important: remote licensees must establish customer identity before permitting gambling. The same licence condition says operators should tell customers, before deposit, what identity documents or other information might be needed, when it could be required and how it should be supplied.

The Gambling Commission rule applies to Great Britain. Northern Ireland has a separate gambling framework.
